KUNG-FU TRAINING VIDEOS
I know that Kung-Fu training is not always accessible to everyone who wants it, due to perhaps distance/location, time, and/or finances.
To that end, I made some videos you can try following along with. They are 30 minute workout/training videos, so, be ready for a lot of repetitions. If at any time, you are not understanding the movements, stop the video, play it back, maybe even slow down the video to try to get more clarity of the coordination.
This is not a substitute for training in-person with me/us. In class, you will be drilling applications on targets, with partners, and I will be correcting your movement errors.
However, if you have no other alternative, you can still benefit from working with these videos.
These are not full routines, they are excerpts of traditional Kung-Fu forms. But still, if you try following along with each of these 30 minute video sessions, you will improve your skill. It all comes down to what you want to put into it, in terms of your effort.
Final Note: I call these “Qigong Training Videos”, because I am training you in this format without attention to martial applications, or much of a directed intent. I’m running through these movements to help you get familiarized with the shapes, coordination, and sequences, mainly for holistic health development. You could take this into a martial or performance realm on your own, if you wanted to. But my focus is just to give you the structure, for your health.
